2011 was an exceptionally good reading year for me. I expanded my horizons, mostly due to the theme reads I took part in, and tried a host of new (to me) authors and genres. I fell in love with a couple of new (to me) series and had what I think is an all-time high of 5 star books.
Book Stats for 2011:
# books read: 80 (!)
# of pages read: 22,379
# of 5 star books: 31
Best book: It’s a tie between Eye of the Needle by Ken Follett and Term Limits by Vince Flynn
Worst book: Luxembourg & the Jenisch Connection by David Robinson (1.5 stars)
Favorite series: White House Chef Mysteries by Julie Hyzy
What was your favorite book of 2011? And your worst? Did you discover a great new (to you) series in 2011?
